• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (you will often meet clients at their place of business within the GTA)

GBS Foodservice Equipment Inc. is looking to hire an experienced G2 Gas Technician and/or AC Mechanic to join our company.

GBS Service Technicians facilitite and perform service and installations on a variety of different commercial restaurant and kitchen equipment in the province of Ontario. Additionally, GBS service technicians may be asked to provide verbal and phone assistance to service partners acros the country and perform troubleshooting duties.

Our preferred candidate will operate out of the Middlesex or Brant County and able to provide service to clients located in London, Strathroy, Brantford, Woodstock and other surrounding areas.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• G2 gas license/certificate (proof required)
  
• Hardworking and dependable
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Must be able to read exploded parts diagrams and technician manuals.

GBS Service technicians will be expected to perform service and preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial cooking equipment. GBS service techs will be required to interact with restauant owners / operators / staff as well as grocery staff and managers and provide on-site assistance for GBS Foodservice products. On-site service may vary depending on the issue, equipment, and GBS service techs are expected to diagnose, troubleshoot and solve issues that our clients and customers face during operation.

Additionally, GBS service technicians may be requested to work "on-call" hour as well as provide "over the phone" trobleshooting and assitance to remote clients / partners.
